BERLIN SCENE LAB is an experiment in filmmaking -- we believe the film industry should be less hierarchical, less bureaucratic, and more open to independent projects. 

For two years we hosted fornightly workshops and live cinema events, to which writers could submit their scripts and directors and actors could sign up to work on them in front of a live audience. The audience and the performers exchanged thoughts and feedback, and afterwards everyone hung out. Through these workshops a community of likeminded artists was built. 

Scene Lab is always in motion -- it shall always aim to be whatever the community needs it to be.
